if you can, a time when there was only one type of wine.

These wine makers would work to produce the fruit from the soil, and
good harvest or bad, they would produce the town’s main beverage, as
well as the town’s main source of enjoyment.
When the weather was bad for several seasons in a row, the wine would be
nearly undrinkable.
Whether or not the town would have wine would not only depend on the
weather, but also on whether the nearby towns had a surplus of good wine
that they would be willing to sell.
That depended on whether or not the neighboring town had suffered from
the same weather conditions that had caused your town to be without good
wine.
Into each bottle of wine have been poured thousands of years of love and
perfection. Wine lovers are fortunate to live in a time when the art of
wine making is celebrated.
One could spend the rest of his life trying new brands, variations and
vintages. You can now judge and compare new flavors against those more
traditional ones.
The only key necessary to a whole world of wine waiting to be explored
is one’s sincere desire to enjoy the experience.
There was a time when people’s refrigerators were stocked with two kinds
of wines, either Chardonnay or Merlot.
There were then Zinfandels and the ripe Cabernet Sauvignons available to
be enjoyed. Now, people have refrigerators and bar areas dedicated to
wine collections with wines from places they have never visited.
Wines are available form Germany, Australia, Sonoma and even from
Croatia.
Wine lovers have no reason to be bored with wines anymore.
So much different wine is available that a lifetime of enjoyment is
almost guaranteed, so sit back, relax and enjoy.
